MVA received MTR Grand Safety Award for SCL 1109 Stations and Tunnels of Kowloon City Section

November 12, 2014 – MVA Hong Kong has received the MTR Grand Safety Award for SCL 1109 Stations and Tunnels of Kowloon City Section. In this project, MVA scope of developing large scale area-wide detailed temporary traffic management to facilitate the construction as well as works included junction modifications and signalised crossings around the area, parking & loading demand study.

The Grand Safety Award was presented to Samsung - Hsin Chong Joint Venture (Shatin to Central Link) for implementing a series of safety measures such as tidy site management, adequate safety training and provision of safety facilities to effectively foster a strong safety culture among frontline workers. MVA Hong Kong is the traffic and transport-engineering consultants for the construction of this new railway project.

The MTR Corporation has recognised the outstanding performance of contractors working on the five new railway projects in September 2014, including the areas of quality, safety, environmental management, and stakeholder engagement.
