E1001 Eastern Region Line (ERL) - 4 In 1 Depot And Mrt Stations (Pedestrian And Traffic Advisory / Construction Stage)
E1001 contract comprises the rail depot, a multi-storey bus depot and the design of MRT Interchange Station E10.
The proposed Eastern Region Line (ERL) (now part of Thomson East Coast line) is an underground 4-car train Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system with an approximate route length of 13km. The trains for the system will be stabled and maintained in an ERL depot. The ERL depot will integrate with two other train depots and a bus depot to form a 4-in-1 depot). ERL will comprise 10 stations including one integrated interchange station and will be occupying the upper platform while the existing DTL extension will occupy the lower platform.
SYSTRA MVA will undertake to design the Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) schemes during the construction period as well as study of designing concept design options. Works included swept path analysis, and conducting higher detail traffic micro-simulation for proposed rail station.
