Green Building Award 2014 - MVA participation in awarded projects

MVA Hong Kong is pleased to announce that the Hong Kong Science Park Phase 3a + 3b project won the Grand Award in the “New Buildings Category - Completed Buildings”. MVA Hong Kong were the traffic and transport-engineering consultants for this project responsible for the design of the proposed road network layout, vehicular access and pick up/drop off arrangement, car parking and loading and unloading facilities, cycle parking facilities, and pedestrian facilities to cope with the proposed development.

On 20 November 2014, The Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) and the Professional Green Building Council (PGBC), co-organisers of the 5th Green Building Award 2014 (GBA 2014) announced the Award winners in Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific Region under the theme of “Excellence in Sustainable Built Environment”. The Award aims to provide recognition to building-related projects with outstanding performance and contributions in sustainability and the built environment and also to transform the mainstream market towards wider adoption of sustainable planning, design, construction, management, operation, maintenance, renovation and decommissioning of buildings.

In addition, MVA were also the traffic consultants providing traffic engineering and transport planning services for the following award winning projects at the ceremony.
